Here are some of our favorite breakfast spots to visit for breakfast in We st Phoenix: Waffle House | 8325 W McDowell Rd Tolleson, AZ 85353 We’ll be starting off with the classics like Waffle House. This Waffle House location is only a short 6 minute drive from our Phoenix apartment community. Burgers aren’t necessarily a breakfast food, but the burgers at Waffle House are worth making an exception. But you can’t go wrong with a delicious waffle from Waffle House, after all it’s in the name! Denny’s | 9856 W Camelback Rd, Glendale, AZ 85305 Another classic breakfast spot, which is only a 7 minute drive from Acero at Algodon Center. We love visiting this restaurant for their Grand Slam breakfast, amazing milkshakes, and on cooler Phoenix days we are first in line for their hot chocolate! IHOP | 2529 N 75th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85035 The International House of Pancakes is the best place to go for...well pancakes! We are just 8 minutes from IHOP so you can catch us there most weekends. It’s just an 11 minute drive over to this classic book store. Barnes and Noble regularly shows off the favorite books of the staff so you’ll be sure to find something great to read. Palabras Bilingual Bookstore | 906 W Roosevelt St, Phoenix, AZ 85007 This bilingual bookstore features an amazing selection of books in English and Spanish. Not only is Palabras a bookstore it also serves our Phoenix community, their website describes it as a “local community and cultural hub with a specially curated diverse collection of books, an art gallery, a workshop & event space & small mutual aid garden”. Acero at Algodon Center is only 15 minutes from Palabras, enjoy! Bookmans Phoenix Entertainment Exchange | 8034 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021 This local bookstore has a wide variety of entertainment that you can purchase! From their selection of used books and CD’s to movies and records this shop has it all and it’s only 22 minute from Acero at Algodon Center. You can also visit this amazing store to donate or sell old books. Labor Day Weekend in West Phoenix

What do you have planned for this long Labor Day weekend? If you’re still searching for something to do, this is the blog for you! Bonus days don’t come around too often so make sure you make the most of it, in a way that feels best for you. This weekend is the perfect time to visit our neighbors at West Wind Glendale (5650 N 55th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301) for a drive in movie! Our apartment community is just a 15 minute drive over to West Wind Glendale. You can purchase your tickets online or at the box office. This theater is open every day of the year and it’s one of the largest in the United States, with 9 screens! Visit the Desert Botanical Garden ! Our Phoenix apartment community is just a 25 minutes drive over to this fantastic garden. Visit them soon to experience their incredible Flashlight Tour and Night Market . Or you can go see their Mighty Monarchs exhibit which will be on display until November 14th! Stay in this long weekend right here in your luxury apartment home. Our apartment community is a great place to spend your long weekend. Enjoy all of the amenities that we have to offer. Check in with our office staff to see if you can reserve our community BBQ to grill up something tasty this weekend. Spend your day in the expansive pool or get toasty in the hot tub/spa. Or, you can always head indoors to our clubhouse and whip something up in our community kitchen! Champis Bakery : 10575 W Indian School Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392 Champis Bakery is somewhat new to the scene here in Arizona but their baked goods are anything but amateur. This bakery serves a wide variety of sweet treats from Danishes to Donuts, Cookies to Croissants, as well as a variety of Mexican specialties. Our apartment community is just an 8 minute drive over to Champis Bakery, so visit them today! Daily Donut : 10725 W Indian School Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392 Just down the road from Champis Bakery is the incredible Daily Donut! This family owned shop is one worth checking out, people on Yelp highly recommend their Jalapeño, Ham & Cheese croissants and freshly made donuts.
