  We love living in Phoenix, Arizona so much that we aren’t in any rush to leave! Let’s have our spring break right here in Phoenix. We’re going to give you the best activities to do in Phoenix for your spring break.  Phoenix Parks and Recreation has amazing events happening all month long that are great for your staycation needs! Visit the Phoenix Parks and Recreation website to learn more about their events during March.    Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park : 15305 W McDowell Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85395   There’s so much to do at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park! This amazing location is only 13 minutes from Acero at Algodon Center. This destination has amazing activities to do like their Sky Rider Coaster, Ropes Course, Climbing Walls, Warrior Course, and Tubes Indoor Playground. Visit their website for more details on their fantastic activities.   K1 Speed- Indoor Go Karts : 2425 S 21st St, Phoenix, AZ 85034 Looking for an adventure? K1 Speed is a quick 23 minute drive from Acero at Algodon Center! Visit their website to schedule your visit. Bring out your inner race car driver, on a smaller scale, and visit K1 Speed for your speed needs.   Desert Botanical Garden : 1201 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008 Take a quick day trip to the amazing Desert Botanical Gardens here in Phoenix! If you’re looking for a relaxing and beautiful staycation activity. Take the 27 minute drive to an amazing nature oasis. You’ll be sure to get some Instagram worthy photos from your visit.    Dust Devil Park : 10645 W Camelback Rd, Glendale, AZ 85307   The Dust Devil Park Skate Plaza has “...grinding rails, skateable benches, 4 individual ramp features, lighting, drinking fountain and shade trees”.  Dust Devil Park is just 8 minutes away from Acero at Algodon Center, take a short trip to spend some time outdoors today. Where to Hike Near Acero Algodon Center-image

When you’re living at Acero at Algodon Center you’re close to the great outdoors!  We love hiking and staying active in Phoenix and want to share some of our favorite places to hike with you:   Grand Canal Linear Park : Parking available North of Camelback on 75th Avenue If you’re an amateur hiker, Grand Canal Linear Park is a great place to start. This park is about 3-1/4 miles, and it runs alongside the Grand Canal. People love walking here and soaking up the sun.  If you’re looking for a rigorous hike this is not the destination for you. It’s only 8 minutes from Acero at Algodon Center! It’s so convenient and a great starting place for you to begin your hiking evolution.    South Mountain Park and Preserve : 10919 S Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042   Let’s kick it up a notch, this hiking location is rated around easy-to-moderate. Are you up for the challenge? Visit this park and preserve to test your limits, it’s just 32 minutes from Acero at Algodon Center. There are so many beautiful views that need to be seen and appreciated. People love visiting this location to get great photos for Instagram , the sunrises and sunsets are worth taking a second to stop and watch the sun.    Piestewa Peak : 2701 E Squaw Peak Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85016   This trail is only 30 minutes away from Acero at Algodon Center!  Visit Phoenix describes Piestewa Peak here saying that, “The preserve's second highest point (after Camelback) is Piestewa Peak at 2,608 feet. If you want to enjoy the panoramic views, there's only one way up: The extremely strenuous Summit Trail (#300), challenging hikers with a 1,200-ft elevation gain and rocky, unrelenting climb. It's one of Phoenix's best hikes, but it's a challenge.” Read more about the specifics of the trail here . This part of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve is likely familiar to you because of the amazing photos you likely see on Instagram .    We are so excited for you to experience some of these great hikes for yourself! Check online before going to learn about the current restrictions set in place due to COVID-19. Fitness Friday: Phoenix Yoga Studios Nearby-image

Yoga is for everybody and every ‘body’! Lucky for us, Phoenix is home to amazing Yoga studios. Whether you’re looking to get your sweat on, take it easy, or have a four legged friend join you, Phoenix has what you need. We want to introduce you to some of our favorite Yoga Studios in Phoenix, Arizona:   The Wellness Center: 13385 W McDowell Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85395   Just 11 minutes from Acero at Algodon Center is The Wellness Center. Their class descriptions will get you excited to practice yoga. They have Aerial Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Flow, Yoga Pilates, Flow Yoga Classes, Tai Chi, and so much more. Their experienced yoga instructors will guide you through their variety of classes and workshops.   Goat Yoga PHX : 2209 N 99th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85037   When you think of Yoga, a goat might not be the first thing that comes to mind. But for Goat Yoga PHX it has always been a part of the equation. This unique Yoga studio is a must try. One customer said,  “Cute goats that roam around and climb on you and great yoga for any level! Outdoor location , nice family. Highly recommend you try it.” Bonus, this Yoga studio is only 5 minutes away from Acero at Algodon Center!   Ignite Yoga: 5110 N Dysart Road, Sue A-166, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340   Ignite Yoga is an amazing place to start or continue your yoga practice. Their schedules include classes that serve ‘all levels’ and Chakra balancing sessions. They also host online yoga classes! But their studio is only 14 minutes from Acero at Algodon Center, so the choice is yours. One reviewer said, “ Ignite is a warm, family owned yoga studio in the west valley. It offers many yoga classes throughout the week, with a wide variety of levels and styles. The class prices are very affordable, and they offer special events, workshops, and training throughout the year. All the teachers have many years teaching experience, and vary in their teaching styles.”.
